Part memoir. Part awakening. Fully honest.

A memoir-driven book about what happens after the storm—when life gets quiet, the old version of you doesn’t fit anymore, and you’re ready to stop abandoning yourself.

For the Woman Rebuilding

If you’ve been strong for too long, start here.

This book is for the woman who learned how to hold everything together—even when it was costing her. The woman who kept showing up, kept doing what needed to be done, and learned how to smile through what was quietly breaking her inside.

It’s for the woman who made it out… but still feels changed.
The woman whose life looks fine now, yet something feels unfamiliar. Quieter. Different. Not wrong—just not the same.

Make It Reign isn’t polished advice from a distance or a list of things you “should” do to feel better. It’s lived truth. It’s the kind of honesty that names what survival mode took from you—and what it gave you, too. It doesn’t rush your healing or try to fix you. It helps you understand yourself with clarity and compassion, so you can stop abandoning parts of yourself just to keep moving forward.

This is a book for the season after endurance—when you’re ready to soften without losing your strength, and to come back home to yourself in a way that feels steady, real, and earned.

“This book put words to things I didn’t even realize I was carrying.”

I’ve read a lot of self-help books, but Make It Reign felt different. It wasn’t telling me what to do—it was walking beside me while I figured it out myself. I felt seen, validated, and gently challenged in the best way.

“This book meets you exactly where you are.”

Whether you’re still in a relationship, freshly out, or years removed but still healing—this book doesn’t rush you. It gave me permission to slow down, be honest with myself, and trust my own inner voice again.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Adrianne May.

I didn’t set out to write a book. I was trying to survive my life.

For a long time, I was the strong one—the dependable one, the one who kept going no matter how much it cost me. As a mother of five, strength wasn’t optional; it was required. I learned how to hold everything together, how to stay composed, how to do what needed to be done even when something inside me was quietly unraveling. Like many women, I was praised for my strength long before anyone asked how it was actually affecting me.

Make It Reign was written in the aftermath of a season that changed me. Not the dramatic breaking point people expect—but the quieter reckoning that comes after. The moment when life looks “fine” on the outside, yet nothing fits the way it used to. When you realize that surviving isn’t the same as living, and that continuing on autopilot is no longer an option.

This book isn’t about blame or bitterness. It’s about awareness. It’s about noticing the patterns we repeat, the ways we abandon ourselves to keep the peace, and the subtle moments when we realize we’re ready to choose differently. I wrote it for the version of me who needed language for what she was feeling—and for anyone who’s ever wondered why healing can feel so lonely, even when things are finally calm.

Today, I help others navigate complex transitions—both personally and professionally—and I believe deeply in clarity, self-trust, and rebuilding from a place of truth rather than pressure. I don’t believe in rushing healing, fixing people, or pretending pain didn’t matter. I believe in learning from it, integrating it, and letting it shape something steadier and more honest.

If you’re here, I don’t think you’re broken. I think you’re in a season of becoming. And I hope this book meets you exactly where you are.
